It was announced earlier this year that Disneyland Resort would be ending their Annual Passholder program, which left many guests wondering — what comes next?

Disney shared that a new system would be coming in the future, and since then, they’ve begun referring to former passholders as “Legacy Passholders” and giving them extra perks until the new system is announced. But, Disneyland has revealed their new annual passholder program and now Disney-goers can start purchasing their memberships!
Disneyland’s new Magic Key Program is set to replace the current Legacy Passholder program beginning August 25th. Disney will make tickets available on Disneyland’s website on this date as well, no earlier than 10 AM PT!

4 Magic Key Passes can be purchased, depending on a”variety of admission days, pricing options, experiences, and savings on food and beverages and merchandise.” Here are the passes with their costs and benefits:
- Dream Key — $1,399; Reservation-based admission to one or both theme parks every day of the year; Hold up to 6 theme park reservations at a time for different dates; Up to 20% off select merchandise; Up to 15% off select dining; Standard theme park parking included (excluding blockout days)
- Believe Key — $949; Reservation-based admission to one or both theme parks most days of the year; Hold up to 6 theme park reservations at a time; 10% off select merchandise; 10% off select dining; 50% off standard theme park parking (excluding blockout days, and available for purchase at Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, Pixar Pals Parking Structure and the Toy Story Parking Area)
- Enchant Key — $649; Reservation-based admission to one or both theme parks select days of the year; Hold up to 4 theme park reservations at a time; 10% off select merchandise; 10% off select dining
- Imagine Key — $399; (Only available to Southern California Residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599); Reservation-based admission to one or both theme parks select days of the year; Hold up to 2 theme park reservations at a time; 10% off select merchandise; 10% off select dining

Guests will also receive benefits like dedicated dining experiences and custom menu items at the Magic Key terrace (YUM), special offerings for Magic Key holders at Disneyland festivals, a Magic Key holder celebration month, and more. There will also be a Magic Key portal that rolls out on the Disneyland app that will allow guests access to both their specific pass types and the community of other keyholders. Just around the corner, Magic Key holders will also be able to visit a limited-time experience at Tomorrowland’s Starcade with charging stations, a photo-op, and other activities starting September 1st.

Disney has also given the sweet surprise of a commemorative welcome package for charter members! Guests who become Magic Key holders in the first 66 days in honor of Disneyland’s 66th anniversary will get a package with a branded pin, magnet, celebratory button, and more.

We’re excited to see this option return for Disneyland Resort fans, and we’ll make sure to keep you updated if there is any more news on the subject. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest in Disney parks coverage!
