Another hotel in Disneyland reopens today!

Though the parks and some hotels have already reopened to guests, Disneyland Hotel is just opening today to welcome back overnight guests (including those who are out-of-state) and we’re there to check out what it’s like!
When we first arrived, we were directed to the guest parking area, which is located pretty close to the Fantasy Tower (the only portion of the hotel that has reopened).

And, then it was time to head in!
One of the unique aspects of this hotel is that there are a ton of displays where you can learn more about Disneyland’s history and check out unique artifacts like photos of the parks in the ’70s and ’80s…

…and antique cars from the attraction Autopia through the decades!

Most of the amenities have reopened, including dining spots like the pool bar, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill, and The Coffee House, and there is signage around the area to help you navigate.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Disneyland Hotel stay without some shopping! You can find Minnie Ears, tees, and other Disney merchandise in the reopened Fantasia Shop.

However, some restaurants have not returned including Goofy’s Kitchen (which is expected to reopen soon) and Steakhouse 55 (which has permanently closed).

We also got to check out the refurbished rooms that include the iconic headboard playing “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes,” plus new touches like updated upholstery, fabrics, and carpeting.

Keep in mind that Disneyland Hotel is currently open with limited capacity and you can reserve your stay through the Disneyland website! Of course, we’ll be keeping an eye out for more reopening news in the parks and hotels so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!

Have you ever stayed at Disneyland Hotel? Let us know in the comments!
I have stayed a few times at the Disneyland Hotel. It was very nice and really convenient. Eaten in Goofy’s Kitchen many times for Breakfast w/ grandchildren & sons family. Also for lunch as well. It’s a bit pricey but worth it as you get a huge selection of food ! The ambiance is great w/ all the different Disney characters coming around to your table! We were able to snap a lot of pictures!
