Disney World and Universal each have unique and awesome attractions, eats, and events!

But one thing they apparently don’t agree on is dining plans: in the same week that Disney World announced that they will be bringing back their Dining Plans, Universal has announced they are discontinuing their own. Here’s what we know so far about Universal’s announcement!

As of today, July 2nd, Universal will not offer the Universal Dining Plan. The dining plan was a way for guests to pre-pay for their food before arriving at the parks.

Depending on the plan, guests got a certain number of meal “credits” to use during their stay at table service and quick service locations. Guests can no longer book any of the plans, including Full Service, Quick Service, and Quick Service + Coca Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup.
