It’s a joy to see the Disney Princesses in person whenever we make our way to the parks!

But, you don’t have to step foot into the Magic Kingdom or elsewhere to show your love for the princesses!

Our wishes on the Evening Star are comin’ true because Disney is debuting a year-long event celebrating the Disney Princesses! During the Ultimate Princess Celebration, you’ll be able to find music, experiences, products, and a campaign to give back to children (the real magic makers), all while honoring the strong women the princesses are.

Things will kick off with Grammy Award-winning artist Brandy‘s new song, “Starting Now!” You might recognize Brandy as the live-action Cinderella who starred in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. The new single that’s produced by Oak Felder and written by Jason Mater, Jordan Powers, and Darren Criss will be released on May 21st with a lyric video by Walt Disney Records.

A music video for “Starting Now” will also make an appearance on the Disney Princess Remixed – An Ultimate Princess Celebration music special this August as the event’s anthem. The show will feature reimagined performances by several Disney stars on Disney Channel and then Disney+ after the premiere. But, in the meantime, you can tune into a full princess inspired playlist to jam out!

Speaking of more music, the Disney Princess – The Concert nationwide tour will begin on November 1st this year! A quartet of Broadway and animated film starlets will join together to perform during the event sponsored by Pandora Jewelry with music direction and guest appearance from Prince. The quartet will consist of Tony nominee Susan Egan, two-time Tony nominee Laura Osnes, Grammy nominee Courtney Reed, and rising star Aisha Jackson.

You can also celebrate in a quieter way with the debut of the NEW Tales of Courage and Kindness from Disney Publishing Worldwide! The collection of 14 original short stories are meant to empower children to create a kinder world as the Disney Princesses remain compassionate and courageous to one another. In honor of the book launch, real Disney Princesses will read the stories, including Mandy Moore, Auli‘i Cravalho, Anika Noni Rose, and Kelly Marie Tran. You’ll even be able to take home a bunch of new merchandise in honor of the Ultimate Princess Celebration! You can find everything along the lines of toys, fashion, accessories, beauty, book, games, home goods, and more! Disney will even collaborate with Lokai and Love Your Melon for charitable giving through their merchandise. You’ll be able to find more products throughout the year from companies like Hasbro, Funko, Besame Cosmetics, POPSUGAR, Coach, Enchanted Disney Fine Jewelry, LEGO, and others.

Perhaps the most magical part of the event overall is that the Starlight Children’s Foundation will be bringing Disney Princess and Frozen themed hospital gowns, as well as toys, books, and games, to children during their hospital stays. Disney hopes to deliver comfort and inspiration to the children and their family through Starlight Gowns as a way to give back to the wonderful kids out there.

On August 23rd, you’ll even be able to party with your princess pals during the first-ever World Princess Week with a weeklong celebration, looking to inspire a million acts of kindness around the world!
