Do you think you know all that there is to know in the world of Disney movies? We recently put our followers to the test over in our Instagram stories to see what they knew about some of the most beloved films of all time!

Follow along and see how many questions you would have gotten correct!
Let’s start with a relatively easy question! We asked our readers to name the two Disney movies that Phil Collins did the music for. One of those films, of course, is Tarzan, and the other film is…

…Brother Bear! But y’all knew that one, no sweat!

Up next, could you guess which of the following is the last movie Walt Disney had a hand in making? The answer is…

…The Jungle Book! The film debuted in 1967, the year after Walt Disney passed away. This question was a little more difficult and the results were more evenly spread out, but our followers prevailed once again as Trivia Experts!

The next question was another softball. We asked our followers to name which of the following actors has NOT voiced a Disney character. The correct answer is…

…Tom Cruise! Mel Gibson was the voice of John Smith in Pocahontas, John Travolta was the voice of Bolt in Bolt, and Kevin Kline was the voice of Captain Phoebus in The Hunchback of Notre Dame! You all dominated on this question!

Staying on the topic of voice actors, we asked our readers if they knew which 2 princesses shared the same voice actress! The dynamic duo is…

…Mulan and Jasmine! Their singing voices both belong to Broadway legend Lea Salonga. This question almost stumped some of our followers, but the majority got it correct!

Maybe we were able to stump our readers on this next question! Did you know that the first Disney movie to use CGI was…

…The Black Cauldron! The film was released in 1985! This was the first question where the most popular answer was NOT the correct choice! A lot of our followers guessed The Little Mermaid, but Disney had already been using CGI in their films for four years at that point!

Perhaps we could get our followers back on the scoreboard with this next question? Do you know the name of the villainous cat from Pinocchio?

The answer, of course, is Gideon! He hangs around with the con artist Honest John and leads Pinocchio down quite the treacherous path! The correct response was NARROWLY surpassed by Stromboli, who is the no-good puppeteer.

Up next, do you know the year that the classic animated film Cinderella came out? The answer is…

…1950! Part of Cinderella Castle’s massive transformation this year was to commemorate the film’s 70th anniversary! A lot of y’all thought the film came out in 1952!

Do you know what the most EXPENSIVE Disney animated movie ever made was? With a total bill costing $260 million, the most expensive film was…

…Tangled! To this day it’s the most expensive animated film Disney has ever made. The majority of our followers guessed one of the two Frozen films, but you would be wrong! Tangled was outspent, however, by a couple of Pirates of the Caribbean sequels.

This next question was DEFINITELY a challenging one! Did you even KNOW that Scar from The Lion King has a real name? If you didn’t know, you would be randomly guessing on this one.

Scar’s real name is Taka! It’s not brought up all that much, but it is referenced once in a spinoff book series from the 1990’s called The Lion King: Six New Adventures, specifically in the story titled A Tale of Two Brothers. Some of you guys are either really good guessers or MASTER trivia fans, although the majority did guess incorrectly.

Finally, we have perhaps the MOST controversial trivia question of the day! We asked our followers to identify which of the following princesses is NOT an official Disney princess. Much to everyone’s shock…

…Anna from Frozen is NOT an official Disney Princess! We know! We’re upset about it, too! Technically Mulan is not a princess even in the slightest (although she is invited to serve as the Emperor’s advisor…but still, not a princess!). Anna is literally referred to as “Your highness” throughout Frozen and Frozen 2, so we aren’t sure what’s taking Disney so long to recognizer her as an official princess.
