These Are The Changes Disney World Is Making To Its Golf Courses

Since reopening, Walt Disney World has implemented a variety of new safety procedures throughout the resort.

These new protocols are also being implement at Disney World’s golf courses. But Disney recently added some new procedures that will not only keep that magic flowing, but also keep guests as safe as possible with its Park & Play Program.

For starters, all guests will need to pre-book their tee times online with a credit card. However, once golfers arrive at the course, their pre-sanitized golf cart will be waiting for them.

Another change is that courses will be completely cashless: only credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, etc. will be accepted for payment in the clubhouses. If you want to buy Disney golf merchandise, it’s good to keep that in mind.

Disney will also require masks in the clubhouse, restrooms, and allfood and beverage locations. Certain high-contact items have been removed from the courses, including ball washers. Players who wish to ride solo have the option to do so. Surfaces throughout the courses will be sanitized often. And as always, social distancing is highly encouraged.

We’ll continue to keep you updated with any additional new health and safety procedures at Walt Disney World!
