Mickey Mouse is one of the most recognizable characters in the world. He has changed a little over the years, but in essence has always been made up of three circles — making him easy to draw, even for little ones!

Below are simple tutorials with Disney artist, Stephen Ketchum, on how to draw three different versions of Mickey Mouse.
The first tutorial is on how to draw the the original 1920’s Mickey Mouse. This was the version of Mickey first drawn by Walt Disney when he was looking for a character to replace Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
Next we have the version that was seen during the 80’s and 90’s. The one that many of us grew up with who rocked the neon colors and the 80’s rolled up sleeve blazer.
The final tutorial is how to draw the modern Mickey Mouse, the one featured in the new Hollywood Studios attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
These lessons are a great way to bring some Disney magic home. They are similar to the animation lessons at the Disney parks and we can’t wait to see who they do next!
