Mulan, the live-action remake of the 1998 film, hits theaters on March 27th. For the stars of the film, however, the world premiere came a lot sooner!
Last night, stars Yifei Liu, Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Jason Scott Lee, Tzi Ma, Yoson An, and Ron Yuan walked the red carpet with director Niki Caro, producers Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, and Jason T. Reed, and music superstar Christina Aguilera to celebrate the premiere of the film!
All the stars of the film were out to greet fans and walk the red carpet!
Initial reactions to the film have been positive, with guests claiming the film provides exciting action while paying tribute to the 1998 animated feature and the original ballad.
Fans were also excited to spot Christina Aguilera, who recorded an original new song for the film (“Loyal, Brave, and True”), while also reprising her iconic performance of “Reflection”.
The rest of us will need to wait until March 27th to experience the Ballad of Mulan in a whole new way!
