It’s time to check in on the (arguably!) strongest Avenger!
A sequel to Captain Marvel is officially in the works — and we cannot wait to see what Carol Danvers has been up to post-Endgame!
The sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel will move from the 1990s to present day, so we should be able to get a better look into what the high-flying Avenger has been up to after the final battle with Thanos.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, it has been revealed that WandaVision staff writer Megan McDonnell has been tapped to write the script, though negotiations are still ongoing. While a director has not yet been announced, it does sound like the original movie’s directors, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, will not be returning. Instead, they are rumored to be in talks to potentially direct a Marvel series for Disney+!
We can’t wait to hear more about Captain Marvel 2, and will keep you updated as we learn more information.
