King Arthur’s Carrousel is Closing for Refurbishment at Disneyland Park

Refurbishments happen all the time in the first quarter of the year, with Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids at Walt Disney World closing for refurbishment. However, another classic Disney attraction is closing on the other side of the country.

Sorry, horse fans. This race is cancelled.

Starting January 21st, King Arthur’s Carrousel at Disneyland Park will be closed for extended refurbishment. Read on for more details, plus alternatives.

We don’t have any specific timeline available for when this attraction will be operating again, so don’t go including it in your Disneyland vacation plans. Our East Coast Crew doesn’t need to worry though: Prince Charming’s Carousel at the Magic Kingdom will continue operating as normal.

Jessie’s Critter Carousel

If you need a carousel as part of your Disneyland vacation, Jessie’s Critter Carousel will be running at Disney California Adventure, providing a colorful alternative that little ones are sure to love.
