As long as we are waxing nostalgic this week, I also came upon this photo from the Tapestry of Nations Parade in Epcot’s World Showcase from 2000. I saw this parade many times during its run and never got tired of it or the wonderful musical score.

  1. I loved this parade/show!!! I have the CD and listen to it everyday at work. Portions of it are played at Epcot every night after IllumiNations as people are leaving the park. I love to slowly walk around World Showcase Lagoon taking my time getting to the exit. So peaceful to avoid most of the crowds and listening to the music ♥

  2. My family loved this parade, especially my grandpa. Since it was in three sections, we liked to watch it from near one the gates where they came out and went back in so we could watch one section come out and go left and then the other section would come from the right and go in. We got to watch it twice that way. The puppets were really cool and the music was just lovely.

  3. Loved this parade also. Saw it for the first time in 2002 when my first born was not quite one yet. Have a lovely picture of one of the costumed performers greeting her. We listen to the CD of the music in the car quite often. Why did they stop the parade?
