Yes, Patti Mccaffrey, I am still going through Disney withdrawal. I had friends there last week and I so wished I was there with them! Plus, Deb Wills and the AllEars team are making plans for December meets, and for the first time in seven years, I won’t be there.

That’s what I thought. 🙂

You made me proud, Players! Not only did so many of you know this is a monorail, but many knew that this is Monorail Teal, set apart from its Blue counterpart by its unique Delta design: the white break/bar in the blue band.

Barrie Brewer originally started Where in the World Photo Fun to point out details in Walt Disney World. That’s why I picked this challenge; to point out the unique detail in Monorail Teal because of its special, poignant history: as Deb Ragno pointed out, it is made from Monorails Pink and Purple. Whenever I see it pass by, I always take a second to acknowledge it in respect. So I know how you feel, Dave Fullerton.

I have so many pictures of it, but again, I had a hard drive crash and lost years of photos. My husband took this one quickly from the train as it went by. It’s blurry because I suddenly tossed the camera at him (since he was on the end) and yelled, “It’s Teal! Get a picture!”
Since a lot of people asked: I was on the Magic Kingdom steam train leaving Tomorrowland and headed for the Main Street station. Monorail Teal was going by as it headed for its Magic Kingdom stop.

Jen Cerce, kudos on your Simpsons monorail reference! Do you know that I once played that song on the Disney World monorail? It got a lot of grins!

Kudos also to Jason And Melinda Lenz for recognizing the WWI soldier headed to Shades of Green! OK, not really, but great comment! 😉
