Vintage Pinnochio Figurine

Light Meter by Lisa K. Berton

John Worthington Foulfellow aka Honest John and Pinocchio in a scene from Disney’s 1940 animated film, Pinocchio. This figurine is on display at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream. Take time and read about movies, production, Disneyland, and of course, Walt himself, before heading into the theater.

The trick to shooting through glass is to get the camera lens as close to the glass as possible. Do not use a flash. Beware of lights reflecting off the glass. Use a high ISO (film speed) such as 800, 1000 or 1600 and a shutter speed of 1/60 or slower like 1/40 or 1/30 if you can hold perfectly still or use a tripod.
