Coming in 2020: New Hotel Tower for Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin!
Posted onThe Orlando Business Journal has reported that the owners of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin are planning to build a new 349-room hotel tower on the current site of the Swan's tennis courts. According to OBJ, New York-based real estate firm Tishman and Metlife Investment Management have entered into an agreement with Walt Disney World to build the 14-story tower, which will break ground this fall and is expected to open in 2020.
New Look Coming for Walt Disney World Swan Resort Lobby Spaces

Upon completion, the resort's two main lobbies, all guest rooms and meeting spaces will all have completely updated appearances.
Tangaroa Terrace Closing for Refurbishment

A Preview of the New California Grill at the Contemporary Resort
Posted onThe Contemporary Resort's popular restaurant, California Grill, closed February 1, 2013, for an extensive refurbishment.
The Disney Parks Blog recently released renderings of what the new California Grill dining room and onstage kitchen will look like when it opens later this summer, as well as a few items that will appear on the new menu.
Designed by the Puccini Group in San Francisco, the restaurant will feature a wall of wines at the entrance and will showcase the spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom below.
