Disney Editions has just released "Dream It! Do It! My Half-Century Creating Disney's Magic Kingdoms," an engaging and informative book by Marty Sklar, Disney Legend and longtime leader of Walt Disney Imagineering. With introductions by Ray Bradbury and Richard M. Sherman, and a number of interesting photographs, the book is sure to delight all kinds of Disney fans.

The Disney Legends Ceremony 2013

Once again, the D23 Expo hosted the Disney Legends Ceremony. This year the new Legends are: Tony Baxter, Collin Campbell, Dick Clark, Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Jobs, Glen Keane, and Ed Wynn. The ceremony ran over 2 hours so we cut the video into segments for easier viewing.

D23 Expo 2013 – Day 2

Another pretty good day at D23 for me. Today was sold out, and it was a LOT busier - the show floor was quite crowded after 11:00 or so. The biggest frustration I heard was how long it took just to get into the building, though - 60-90 minutes for those who arrived in the 8:30-9:30 range (doors opened at 9:00 for D23 members).

2013 Disney Legends Announced!

Monsters Inc. and Monsters University stars Billy Crystal and John Goodman, technology visionary Steve Jobs, television icon Dick Clark and other beloved contributors to the Disney legacy will be named and honored as official Disney Legends during the D23 Expo 2013 at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, in the D23 Expo Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center.
