NEWS: Disney Reveals DATE for Soarin' Ride Changes

Get ready to soar across America because huge changes are coming to Soarin’!

Disney previously announced that a new version of this ride, Soarin’ Across America, would premiere at both Disneyland and Disney World in the summer of 2026. But now, we officially know when the ride will debut at Disney California Adventure!

Soarin’ will receive an all-new airborne adventure across the U.S. beginning at Disneyland Resort this summer. Soarin’ Across America debuts on July 2nd, 2026 — just in time for the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Disney previously shared that this new adventure will take us “soarin’” across both coasts as the ride highlights some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes across the United States. But don’t think that this ride update to the scenery you’ll find throughout your flight will make this ride feel any less like itself!

Disney also mentioned that several of the key elements that make Soarin’ unforgettable, like the flight, the sights, and score — even the scents — will still be found throughout this upcoming version! Walt Disney Imagineering is already at work capturing more than a dozen breathtaking locations for the new flight, and our interest is totally piqued to see the journey they take us on across the country!

We can’t wait to check out this new version of Soarin’ as Soarin’ Across America debuts at Disney California Adventure. For now, Disney hasn’t announced when this version of the ride will officially come to Disney World, but we expect it to be around the same time.
