Since there are so many decisions to make when you’re heading to Disney World or Disneyland, the shoes or clothes you plan to wear often take a backseat. But we’re here to tell you that it SHOULDN’T!

Wearing the wrong shoes to a Disney park can ruin your day faster than almost anything else. The wrong shoes can give you blisters, aches and pains in your feet that last days, and overall just make you miserable. We’ve been there, which is why people on our team — many of them Moms! — have tried these shoes and can recommend them without a shadow of a doubt.
Particularly, we asked Myranda, who has four kiddos and primarily walks around the parks in flip-flops no matter how long the day is, to try these shoes out, knowing she’d be the most critical. I personally have never seen Myranda in sneakers, so when I saw she gave the HOKA Women’s Clifton 10s a glowing review, my jaw was on the FLOOR.

I was actually with Myranda in Disney Springs when she tried out the HOKA Rincon 4s for the first time, and while she found them more comfortable than what she expected, she was telling me that she was definitely getting used to the bounciness of the shoe, and felt they were rubbing against the back of her heel. However, that was NOT the case with the Clifton 10s!

These are quite bouncy when you step, so there’s tons of support at the heel, but it also was a great fit for those with high arches to their feet (like her, and me, for that matter). When she shared our findings with the other members of the team, the agreement was staggering across the board! In fact, the only thing we’d change about these shoes are the price, as they are expensive. We get it, you’re paying for that better quality, but we do wish they were more affordable!

At the end of the day, Myranda said she’d start adding them into her normal rotation of park footwear, and everyone else on the team gasped in surprise. NEVER did we think we’d see the day a notorious sneaker hater would willingly wear them constantly, so if that doesn’t show you how well these are made and how great they are for the parks, we don’t know what will.

On your Disney World trip, you’re likely going to walk miles and miles in one day (sometimes as many as 10-12 miles), but being one of our reporters, Myranda did the same thing when she put these to the test. Other members of our team have all agreed — these held up, and have continued to hold up throughout many, many trips at different seasons of the year, so if you’re willing to make the investment and you know you’d use them a lot back at home too, we say investing in HOKAs is totally worth it.
We’re always here to bring you the best honest reviews to help you plan for your next Disney trip, so stay tuned to AllEars!
