BREAKING: A NEW Disney Character Is Coming to Magic Kingdom

A new nighttime parade is almost here!

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away officially debuts in Magic Kingdom on July 20th with two showtimes each night. With everything we’ve seen so far, we’re sure it’s going to be a must-see on your next trip. But Disney just took us behind the scenes of the parade in a new episode of “We Call It Imagineering” and dropped some big news!

Disney Starlight will feature several adored Disney characters, including Elsa, the Madrigal family from Encanto, several Princesses, and Mickey and his friends. However, it was just revealed that Whimsy, an all-new character, will be joining the parade!

Recently, Disney announced the finale float of the parade would be a train. This is also where we’ll see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and more. Little did we know THE TRAIN IS WHIMSY! You can see the smiling face on the front in a still from the new video.

Whimsy is special because the character is made up of Starlight, according to designers and Imagineers from the episode. We’re looking forward to seeing Whimsy in action! Watch the entire video below.
