Is Epic Universe Part of the Universal Orlando Annual Pass Program?

EVERYONE is talking about Universal Orlando’s third theme park, Epic Universe, and for good reason! It is a-maaaaaa-zing!

The new park officially debuts on May 22nd, 2025. Annual Passholder preview tickets are available for purchase for those hoping to see the park during a soft opening. However, the question still remains: will Epic Universe be included in the Universal Annual Pass?

The new theme park is home to five different lands including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. The Epic Universe adventure is truly unlike anything we’ve seen before! Universal offers Annual Passes to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, but fans have been asking the question for months now — will Epic Universe be included with the Annual Pass?

Unfortunately, the answer is pretty simple: no! Currently, the Universal Annual Passes available for purchase will not grant you access to Epic Universe. Let’s be honest; everyone knows Epic Universe will be insanely popular. The park will be packed to the max with guests wanting to experience the new experiences. For that reason, Universal isn’t adding an Annual Pass or park add-on option — for right now.

As we mentioned before, though, Annual Passholders can still experience the exciting new theme park! Preview tickets are now available for purchase for Passholders to visit the park before its grand opening. Passholders can also buy special-priced one-day tickets to Epic Universe. Both these options are available while supplies last — so don’t wait! If you are not a Universal Orlando Passholder, you can still purchase a pass online at their website, or you can buy one at the front of the park in person. Before being able to purchase your one-day Epic Universe tickets, you must scan into the park at least once to activate your pass.

On top of the early access and special priced tickets, Universal Passholders get one more treat. If you are a Universal Premiere Passholder, you will be able to use Universal Express at Epic Universe after 4 PM — with valid theme park admission! Note that this feature will start on opening day, May 22nd (and onward), but won’t be available during the preview period.

Who knows, maybe Epic Universe being included in an Annual Pass option is not too far off into the future. We don’t think it’s a matter of “IF” Epic Universe will be included as an Annual Pass option; it’s more likely a matter of “WHEN?”. For now, Universal Annual Passes will not grant you access to Epic Universe. If you want to visit the new park, you must purchase a one-day ticket. Hey, at least they have a special price offer for APs!
