Heads up college students, the applications for the Disney College Program are OPEN!

Disney describes the opportunity as a chance to experience a “one-of-a-kind internship where you can enjoy endless uniquely Disney opportunities while working a frontline or backstage role at Walt Disney World Resort.” The newly released dates feature arrival dates in May, June, August, and September of 2025, with departure dates no sooner than January 2026. Program lengths range from 4 to 8 months, with the potential to extend to up to one year.
The 2025/2026 arrival and departure dates are as follows:

According to Disney, available positions include a “variety of front-line and backstage roles offered across our theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, and resorts” where those enrolled will have the “opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience working in the operation while creating magic for our guests” and build “transferable skills like problem-solving, collaboration, and effective communication will help you prepare for your future, whether at Disney or beyond.”

The company lays out the benefits of the program as including:
- Get paid on a weekly basis, with rates starting at $17.00 an hour.
- Complimentary theme park admission.
- Access to cast-exclusive discounts
- Accommodation in an “innovative apartment community with access to free transportation to work locations and nearby shopping or dining.” The complex includes “fully furnished apartments and includes additional amenities like a 12,500 sq. ft. fitness center, quiet spaces to study, and resort-style pools.” The program also provides bus transportation to and from Disney World’s parks and resorts.

Eligibility requirements to take part in the college program include:
- Being at least 18 years of age at the time of application
- Currently enrolled and taking classes OR have graduated from an accredited United States* college, university, or higher education program within 24 months of the application posting date
- Possess unrestricted work authorization within the United States*
- Be open to a starting pay of $17 per hour
- Be fully available to work Sunday through Saturday, including days and nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime
- Be receptive to Disney Look appearance guidelines
- Students who have not yet graduated from high school but have dual enrollment with a college are not eligible to apply
