There are plenty of seasonal celebrations in Disney World throughout the year, and we’re about to start another one!

Nope, we’re not talking about Halloween! We’re talking about Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month, which runs from September 15th to October 15th in 2024. And this year, Disney is doing some special offerings!
First up, many Encanto fans will be happy to know that the limited-time ¡Celebración Encanto! show has been extended through Hispanic & Latin Americana Heritage Month! This show has been happening daily in CommuniCore Plaza in EPCOT, and now you’ve got even more time to check it out.

Starting on September 15th, Mariachi Cobre in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT will offer a “limited time experience” with a “familiar amigo.” This performance will happen on select days and times, so make sure to check the schedule in the My Disney Experience app.

If you’re interested in artwork, there are a few places you can visit during this celebration. The Art Walk at Disney Springs will be getting a new mural addition painted by Nicole Salgar, while Art of Disney in EPCOT will show off paintings and artwork by Latin American and Hispanic artists. And if you want to show off your own skills, make sure to stop by the Animation Experience in Animal Kingdom, where you can learn to draw Dante from Coco and meet Hispanic Pixar animator Ana Ramirez.

It wouldn’t be a Disney celebration without special snacks, and soon, we’ll be getting a foodie guide with special limited-time treats. For now, we know that fan favorites like the Encanto Cupcake (available at Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus) and the Pollo Guisado (available at select locations like the End Zone Food Court) will be returning.

And last but not least, we’ve got to mention the merchandise. Soon, a brand-new Coco-inspired merchandise collection will be hitting the parks. We can’t wait to check it out!

We’ll be on the lookout for more celebrations coming to Disney World soon. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest.
