A New Universal Land Is Officially Under Construction

Universal Orlando Resort recently announced that a new DreamWorks Land is arriving at Universal Studios Florida in 2024!

No details about an official opening date have been revealed just yet, but we did get a sneak peek at some of the concept art. It looks like Universal is wasting no time on this transformation and we’re sharing the proof.

Universal shared that the new DreamWorks land will feature beloved characters from several animated films like Kung Fu Panda, Trolls, and Shrek. And, thanks to photos from @bioreconstruct on Twitter, we’ve got a glimpse at some of the construction.

You can really see what the size of the land will look like in this overview photo. Universal also shared that this family-friendly area will replace the KidZone area. Look out for special meet-and-greets with characters from Gabby’s Dollhouse and more!

We also caught a look at this concept art Universal released in their initial announcement, but it mostly appears to just be a sign at the entrance of the land.
