Park Pass Reservation CHANGES Announced for Disneyland

Ever since Disney World and Disneyland Resort reopened during the pandemic, visitors have (generally) been required to make reservations to visit the parks.

We’ve seen some changes with the Disney Park Pass system in Disney World, including updates to requirements for Annual Passholders, changes for 1-day 1-park tickets, and more changes announced for 2024. But now, a change has hit Disneyland Resort’s reservation system, and we’ve got the details!

Beginning May 17th, Disneyland Resort guests will be able to MODIFY their park reservations without having to cancel and rebook them. The modification can apply to the date of the reservation, the park selected for that reservation, or both.

You will be able to make modifications up to the day of your reservation BEFORE you enter the parks on the day of your visit, and Magic Key holders will continue to have a one-day modification window.

This park reservation change (the ability to modify rather than cancel) is one we saw made in Disney World a while back, and it definitely makes adjusting your plans much easier. If there isn’t any availability to switch, you can keep your reservation without losing it.

Keep in mind that all changes are subject to availability and any applicable block-out dates.
