Disney Wins 26 Emmys — See Them All Here

Last night, the Emmys were on TV and there were some big winners!

Nominations for this year’s ceremony were announced back in July, where The Walt Disney Company scored over 100 nominations! Disney’s nominations were in categories such as Outstanding Animated Program, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, and many more. Now that the awards ceremony has taken place, we’ve got the final results of the night for you!

Out of the over 100 nominations, Disney won 26 of them. Below, we’ll be breaking down which movies or tv programs won which awards.

Note that a lot of these wins happened during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony, which took place on September 3rd & 4th of this year. We’re going to first take a look at the winners from the Primetime Emmys ceremony that took place on Monday, September 12th.

During the ceremony, we saw two very big wins for ABC and 20th Television’s Abbott Elementary! Sheryl Lee Ralph won for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series, making her only the second Black woman to win in the category. Quinta Brunson, the creator of the show, also won for Outstanding Writing For A Comedy Series for the show’s pilot episode.

Another big winner was Michael Keaton, who won for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie for Hulu and 20th Television’s Dopesick.

Finally, Amanda Seyfried won Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie for The Dropout, which was made by Hulu, 20th Television, and Searchlight Television.

Now, let’s talk about the awards from the Creative Arts Emmy Awards!

Chadwick Boseman won for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for his performance as Star Lord T’Challa in Disney+ and Marvel Studios’ What If…?.

The Beatles: Get Back, which was on Disney+, got 5 Wins:

Outstanding Documentary Or Nonfiction Series
Outstanding Directing For A Documentary/Nonfiction Program — “Part 3: Days 17-22”
Outstanding Picture Editing For A Nonfiction Program — “Part 3: Days 17-22”
Outstanding Sound Editing For A Nonfiction Or Reality Program (Single Or Multi-Camera) — “Part 3: Days 17-22”
Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Nonfiction Or Reality Program (Single or Multi-Camera) — “Part 3: Days 17-22”

Abbott Elementary also had another win at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which was for Outstanding Casting For A Comedy Series.

Hulu and 20th Television’s Only Murders in the Building got 3 Wins:

Outstanding Guest Actor In A Comedy Series — Nathan Lane
Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour) — “True Crime”
Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation — “The Boy From 6B”

Dopesick also saw another win during this ceremony, which was for Outstanding Cinematography For A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie — “Breakthrough Pain.”

Hulu and 20th Television’s How I Met Your Father saw 2 Wins:

Outstanding Cinematography For A Multi-Camera Series – “Pilot”
Outstanding Multi-Camera Picture Editing For A Comedy Series — “Timing is Everything”

Then, FX and FX Productions’ Atlanta won for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour) — “Three Slaps”

The Book of Boba Fett from Disney+ and Lucasfilm Ltd.) won for Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie…

…and Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, which was from Disney+ and Walt Disney Studios, won for Outstanding Television Movie.

Hulu’s The Great won for Outstanding Period Costumes — “Five Days.”

And, Impeachment: American Crime Story from FX, 20th Television, and FX Productions won for Outstanding Contemporary Hairstyling — “The Assassination Of Monica Lewinsky.”

National Geographic’s Life Below Zero won for Outstanding Cinematography For A Reality Program — “Fire In The Sky.”

And, Disney+ and Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight won for Outstanding Sound Editing For A Limited Or Anthology Series, Movie Or Special — “Gods and Monsters.”
