D23 Members to Get Exclusive Preview of 'Heroes & Villains: The Art of The Disney Costume' Exhibit

D23 Members receive a ton of perks and benefits, including complimentary gifts, discounts, and access to the 2022 D23 Expo! To add to the ever-expanding list of perks, D23 just announced a member preview that you don’t want to miss.

D23 announced the special preview event, Walt Disney Archives Exhibition of Heroes & Villains: The Art of The Disney Costume! The event allows you to journey through the “magic and wonder of Disney costumes and storytelling!” D23 Members will be among the first to see this new exhibit, which resides at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, Michigan.

The event takes place Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, beginning at 8:30AM. This exhibit was shown at the D23 Expo in 2019, and includes:

Costumes from some of Hollywood’s prominent designers
“Cinderella’s Workshop” (a gallery featuring Cinderella’s dresses from her various incarnations — Cinderella, Into the Woods, Once Upon a Time, etc.)
The Main Gallery: “Disney Heroes,” “Disney Villains,” and “Spaces Between”
An exclusive hour to tour the exhibit before it opens to the general public
A presentation from Rebecca Cline, director of the Walt Disney Archives

The main gallery is divided into three sections: “Disney Heroes,” “Disney Villains,” and “Spaces Between.” They’re dedicated to the costumes and journeys from films like Beauty and the Beast, Enchanted, Hocus Pocus, and more!
