PHOTOS: The Main Street Electrical Parade Makes an Early Return to Disneyland!

One of the most iconic Disney parades ever is finally back in Disneyland!

Slowly but surely, nighttime entertainment has been returning to Disneyland. Mickey’s Mix Magic fireworks opened last summer, and tons of other nighttime staples are joining it. Fantasmic!, World of Color, Disneyland Forever, and the Main Street Electrical Parade are all returning to Disneyland, and the time has finally come!

The Main Street Electrical Parade has finally returned to Disneyland, and they’re streaming the event live! This version of the parade features all-new Mary Blair-inspired floats to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the parade.

The floats feature tons of Disney and Pixar characters, including characters from the hit movie, Encanto! The parade wasn’t supposed to return until the 22nd, but Disneyland has surprised guests tonight with early performances.

Once the lights dim and that iconic music starts playing, you just feel a little more “magical,” ya know?

We spotted SO many iconic floats, including the spinning turtles…

…Alice on her mushroom…

…and of course, Elliot the dragon! It wouldn’t be the Main Street Electrical Parade without him.

Of course, one of the highlights is the gigantic “it’s a small world” finale float, which features Disney characters from all around the world.

We spotted dolls themed to Coco, Frozen, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and so much more. At the end of the float, there are even Encanto characters!

While this float rolls through, Main Street plays techno versions of songs from these movies.

And at the very end, there’s a stunning lit-up castle with fireworks bursting out the top. What a fitting tribute to the 50th Anniversary of this parade!
