Disney+ is About to Make Streaming WAY More Cinematic

As we all know, Disney is constantly looking for ways to raise the bar! Whether it be in the parks, in the movie theater, or in your home, Disney is always changing the game, and this Disney+ update is a milestone for the platform! 

Disney+ Day is almost here, and Disney is about to change the way we stream movies with some of the new experiences coming to the platform.

Have you ever seen an IMAX movie in theaters? Well now, Disney has found a way to bring some IMAX enhancements to your living room and you can start streaming it on Disney+ day this Friday November 12th! 

This Friday, Disney+ will be releasing enhanced IMAX versions of 13 Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. What exactly does this mean? Well, it means you’ll have the option to watch these films with IMAX’s Expanded Aspect Ratio of 1:90:1, which will offer up to 26% more picture for select sequences.

Marvel fans know the impact of seeing a MCU movie in the theaters for the first time, and with this update, you might be able to bring some of that feeling into your own home!

You’ll be able to stream Shang-Chi, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, and Black Widow, all with IMAX enhancements on Disney+

There are tons of other Disney+ day deals and drops, but this one is super exciting for superhero nerds everywhere. Rejoice Marvel fans, watching your favorite movies is about to get even better!
