PHOTOS: Step Inside Disneyland's NEW Year-Round Holiday Shop!

Halloween might just be around the corner, but when it comes to Disney Parks, it’s NEVER too early to start celebrating the holiday season.

Disney World has already started putting up holiday decorations, and Disneyland has already started adding holiday snow to Sleeping Beauty Castle. Plus, now Disneyland also features its very own holiday shop and we’re taking you along for a look inside!

A few weeks ago, we shared that a brand NEW holiday store — called Plaza Point Holiday Shoppe — would be coming to Disneyland Park soon. And, it’s time to get into the festive season, because it has officially opened on Main Street U.S.A. — let’s head on in!

Inside, you’ll find all kinds of Disney Christmas decor to bring home with you like pillows and stocking holders.

And if you’re looking for ornaments, you’ll find a whole wall dedicated to them! Plus, many are personalizable so you can have anything you’d like written on them at the counter.

You’ll also find stockings, picture frames, tree skirts, and more.

The store itself is decorated with Christmas greenery and lights and, it’s even got its own backstory! The story goes that the store’s proprietress is a world traveler named Miss Evelyn Toro who collects unique holiday items to put in her store.

But what’s really interesting is that Miss Evelyn is based on a real person — the REAL Evelyn is the mother of Disneyland Resort Enhancement Manager Dawn Pipal-Keehne. This Evelyn grew up in Puerto Rico and then later came to the U.S. with her own holiday traditions, recipes, and stories. And you’ll see subtle nods to that in the store.

So, you’ll find that there’s more than just merchandise to look at inside.

But this store isn’t only for Christmas — it also features items for other holidays, too. We spotted a few Halloween-related items when we visited.

So, while you’ll always find the latest Disney Christmas items in the store, you’ll also be able to stop in here and find a rotating selection of holiday items. And, we’ll be keeping an eye out for all the newest decorations that arrive so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars!
