Disney Parks provide accessibility services to guests, which are intended to accommodate people with disabilities and special needs.

Many guests with disabilities and special needs visit Disney Parks and need a different level of accessibility from other guests, and sometimes that accessibility is not available or allowed. After spending time reassessing their accessibility program, Disneyland Paris will be introducing a new program with a focus on empowering guests and increasing accessibility.
Disneyland Paris will launch a new accessibility program on December 3rd, which is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This new program will focus on guest autonomy and allow guests with disabilities and special needs to determine their level of need.

In the past, Disneyland Paris’s accessibility program categorized disabilities and attractions and required disabled guests to have a caregiver on attractions, whereas now guests will be able to evaluate their needs. The new program will also increase accessible attractions and provide a 25% discount for disabled guests with official documentation, as well as for one careperson.

Throughout the last few years, Disneyland Paris has been working to increase accessibility around the resort and focus more on inclusion for guests with unique circumstances, and they expressed hope that this new program can contribute to changes in inclusion standards within the French theme park industry.
