It seems that water park season has officially arrived in Orlando!

Not only is Disney World’s Blizzard Beach water park set to open soon, but the water park at Universal Orlando has officially opened as of today!
That water park is Volcano Bay, which reopened with Universal’s theme parks back in June. It then later closed for an extended season on November 2nd, 2020.

In February, Universal officially announced the reopening date for Volcano Bay, and it’s today, February 27th! Health and safety protocols are in place, including temperature checks, limited capacity, social distancing, and face coverings inside gift shops and restaurants. However, face masks are not allowed on slides and in pools.

So here’s a reminder that you can now escape the Florida heat and have some wet — and wild — fun at Universal Orlando. And we’ll let you know when other water parks in the area open, too.
