Are you planning on driving to Disney World? If you live close enough, it’s totally doable, and even if you don’t, sometimes a road trip to Disney World is all you need.

Well, if you are making a road trip to Disney World, you’re going to need some essentials. Now, take it from me, who has driven for 13 hours to Disney World, these items will make your drive — and life — a lot easier.
If you’re driving to Florida, you know it’s going to be bright and sunny, at least once you get into Florida. Sunglasses are a must, but we like this retro set because you get two pairs that you can use while driving AND while in the parks.

I have super sensitive eyes. I’m going to be wearing sunglasses like these ALL the time.
If you’re going to be spending HOURS on the road, you’ll need a way to charge your phone, especially if you’re using it to listen to music or navigate via Google Maps. So you’ll need a good Car Charger for your device.

This charger comes in handy because it plugs right into your car’s auxiliary power outlet and is compatible with most phones.
If you are using your phone as your navigation device, and I almost ALWAYS do, you’ll need somewhere to put it so you can see it, but also where it’s not distracting you while driving. A good Car Phone Mount is a necessity.

We like this car dock because it actually comes with TWO ways to attach it to your vehicle: either to a vent or via a suction cup on your window or dashboard. This also makes hands-free calling a breeze.
Okay, it’s a long drive to Disney World, and you can only play “I Spy” so many times before losing it. That’s why you should sign up for Audible so you can listen to audiobooks while you drive.

You’ll be able to download some of those books on your To Be Read list and finally tackle them on your way to Disney World. Sign up now, and you can get 30 days FREE.
Sitting in one position is going to hurt after a while, so you might want to invest in a good Seat Cushion to keep yourself pain-free on the long journey. This cushion is technically made for the office, but it’s perfect for driving, too.

It’s made with memory foam, so it kinda’ sculpts its way around your curves so that you can sit comfortably for longer. However, pro-tip: you’ll still want to take some breaks to stretch your legs on your trip. Maybe stop at one of those many convenience stores that advertise “live gators” in Florida for some rest and Florida fun.
Driving might not be as taxing as spending time in the theme parks, but it’s still important to stay hydrated while you’re on the road. Now, you know how much we love our Owala Water Bottles, and they’re great for road trips, too.

These Owalas are our favorites because they’re themed around Disney Princesses.
Kids aren’t as patient as adults during car trips, so while you may be entertained by listening to a great book, you’ll need something for the kiddos, too. We like this Toddler Busy Board because it has TONS of things to keep little hands and minds busy during long road trips.

This board has eight pages of educational play, including zipper, shoelace, belt, button, clock, calendar, shapes matching, threading 1 2 3 4 numbers, A B C D, and 1 2 3 4 hook and loop letters, a jigsaw animal puzzle, and more.
Your kiddos are also going to get hungry during the road trip, but that could lead to messes in the car. That’s why we love this Car Seat Tray that can be used pretty much anywhere, including your car cup holder.

This will give your young one a chance to snack and grab a drink without you having to worry so much about spills and messes.
These Disposable Stick-on Placemats also come in handy if you have children traveling with you. You can attach them to many surfaces to provide your kid with some fun play and entertainment. These are also great for any restaurant stops you make on your way to Disney World.

When you’re done with the placemats, you can just throw them away. How easy is that?
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
