The Unfortunate Bathroom Problem You’ll Run Into at Universal’s Epic Universe

Epic Universe is an incredible theme park with unique lands and amazing attractions, but there is one problem we’ve noticed.

Universal Orlando’s newest theme park has already made a huge impression on fans. From groundbreaking attractions like Monsters Unchained and the immersive worlds inside Super Nintendo World to incredible dining spots such as Toadstool Cafe, the park is packed with reasons to fall in love. The attention to detail, the next-level technology, and the scale of the lands make it one of the most exciting theme park additions in years. But while there’s a lot to love about Epic Universe, there’s one unfortunate bathroom problem that guests are likely to run into.

We are so impressed by the scale, vibrant designs, and how detailed Super Nintendo World is. We loved these attractions as well; however, we noticed a problem after riding Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge.

When you come through the portal into the land, you’ll find escalators that take you up to the main part of the land. Off to the side is where you’ll head to experience the Donkey Kong Country area of the land, and as we found out the hard way, it’s also the ONLY place you’ll find bathrooms in this land.

Yep, that’s right — there are NO bathrooms on the second level of Super Nintendo World, which is where you’ll find both Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge. This means that the only ones you’ll find in the land are on the first floor, closer to the entrance to that Donkey Kong area, which, for anyone who’s having a bathroom emergency, that’s not going to be the ideal situation.

If you’re concerned about finding where the closest bathrooms are on your trip, you can look ahead of time on the Universal Orlando app, because the Epic Universe app is live right now! This is a great way to give you peace of mind before your trip even begins. We think everyone should be familiar with it, but especially those who could have a situation where they need to find one ASAP.
