Happy Birthday, Disneyland! Today, July 17th, 2025, marks Disneyland’s official 70th birthday. We have to say, 70 years has never looked better!

Disneyland Park is celebrating its birthday in style with special treats, the opening of a brand-new show, and even a special edition map and commemorative button. We are here to celebrate, and you have to see the map and button!

Back in 1955, Disneyland Park opened its doors for the very first time. The happiest place on Earth has been making memories ever since, and our team members have so many fantastic memories from this park. We are thrilled to be at Disneyland Park celebrating its birthday today. We are also loving the special edition guide map that is being distributed today!

Inside, you can find some of the special offerings for the celebration. But just wait until you see the map!

Once you open the map all the way up, you will find an aerial view of Disneyland that was painted by Disney Legend, Peter Ellenshaw, in 1954. This was the map that was used to introduce Disneyland on television on October 27th, 1954. The map also highlights the opening day attractions that you can ride today!

In addition to the special edition map, Cast Members are also handing out commemorative buttons for the occasion. The button features Dumbo flying over Sleeping Beauty Castle. What a fun way to commemorate this special day!

While Disneyland Resort’s official anniversary is today, July 17th, 2025, you can celebrate its milestone through the summer of 2026. You can see special entertainment offerings like the Paint the Night Parade and the “Mickey and Friends Celebrate Happy!” cavalcade. There are also exclusive treats and merchandise available!
