We still feel like we are dreaming! But we are INSIDE Epic Universe and bringing you a first look at everything Universal Orlando’s brand-new theme park has to offer.

Epic Universe features five themed lands that will immerse you in some of your favorite worlds. From Dark Universe to How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, there is something for everyone at this new park. We are bringing you along with us to explore everything and we are about to make a stop in Celestial Park!
With its opening date of May 22, 2025, just around the corner, we are so excited to have been given the opportunity to head inside early for a sneak peek! The first land you enter as you head into the park is Celestial Park, so let’s take a look inside. Universal calls Celestial Park the “world between worlds, where everything begins and ends.”

It is the first land you see, and we were freaking out as we walked into Celestial Park!

For starters, we were so impressed by how beautiful it looked. We loved all the greenery and water elements throughout the land. Celestial Park holds the portals to all the other immersive areas of the park, and it also has some attractions of its own.

Within Celestial Park, you will find three attractions, four restaurants, two stores, and fountain shows. Starting off with Stardust Racers which is a dual-launching coaster that sends you rocketing through the sky on comets. The coaster reaches speeds up to 62 mph along 5,000 feet of track. You will need to be at least 48 inches tall to experience this ride.

You will also find Constellation Carousel which is the grand centerpiece of Celestial Park. The carousel doesn’t look like your average carousel, and the vehicles aren’t your classic carousel vehicles either.

The carriages include celestial lions, dragons, peacocks and more. Plus, each carriage turns 360 degrees while also lifting riders up to 6 feet in the air. There is no height requirement, but children under 48 inches must be accompanied by an adult and hand-held infants are not permitted.

The detailing on the top of the carousel is amazing as well! This is for sure one of the prettiest carousels we have seen.

You can also head over to Astronomica, which is an interactive wet-play area. It doubles as a giant compass rose to the many wonders of Epic Universe. This area features “crystal blue fountains that spring to life and dance around guests.”

Once you have built up a bit of an appetite, there are lots of options inside Celestial Park. You can head over to the Atlantic, which is a full-service restaurant inside of a Victorian aquarium. The restaurant features seafood and “typical — and not so typical — surf and turf options.”

You can also head over to The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food. This is also a full-service restaurant with neon dragon, ethereal lanterns, and an indoor courtyard. If you are looking for something a bit quicker, you can head over to The Oak & Star Tavern which serves up savory barbecue options.

We got the chance to take a lunch break at Oak & Star Tavern and enjoy the food and vibes!

Or, if you aren’t in the mood for barbecue, you can head over to Pizza Moon for a variety of pizzas. Once you have gotten some food in your belly, you can also do some shopping in Celestial Park! This land features the Nintendo Super Star Store and Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets.
