With so many rides around the Disney parks, some are bound to need a bit of TLC every now and then.

While we’ll occasionally see rides temporarily go down for minor issues throughout the day, from time to time Disney will shut rides down for longer periods in order to do scheduled maintenance and refurbishments. Several Disneyland rides have been closed for refurbishment lately, and Indiana Jones Adventure is the latest to be added to that list.
Indiana Jones Adventure will close for refurbishment at Disneyland on March 17th. The ride has officially been added to Disneyland Park’s refurbishment schedule and is set to reopen on April 25th.

The Indiana Jones Adventure is a tour through one of Indiana Jones’ recent archeological finds — the lost Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The 12-passenger “jeeps” are moving motion simulators capable of a myriad of different movements, and every ride is unique as the vehicle bounces, stutters, stops, and races through the temple in attempting to avoid the wrath of the god Mara.

In addition to Indiana Jones Adventure, “it’s a small world,” Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, and The Disneyland Story Presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln will all be closing for refurbishment this spring as well.
That’s quite a lot of ride refurbishments happening around Disneyland!

We also noticed that the reopening date for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout has been updated. The ride is scheduled to close for refurbishment on March 1st, but the calendar now shows operating hours on March 21st. This could just be a glitch, but it’s possible the ride will reopen on this date.

This is my all time favorite!!!! I get in the gate and take off at a full gallop. If people get left behind,oh well. I’m not slowing down at 70.
