Don’t you just love getting souvenirs when you’re at Disney World?
There really are all kinds of souvenirs to come home with too. Will you pick up a new bubble wand or a Goofy plush? Or maybe you go the classic route and bring home an umbrella and a new pair of Mickey Ears. But what do you do if you want to find a souvenir that’s a bit more unique? That’s what we’re here for! Let’s talk about some of the most “secret” souvenirs in Disney World that we’re sure 99% don’t even know about!
Let’s dive right into some hidden gems at Disney World that are just too good to pass up and definitely need to be added to your must-have list for your next trip!
The Overlooked Trolls in Norway (EPCOT)
First up, let’s talk about the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT. As you know, most everyone rushes off to Frozen Ever After, but have you ever stopped to check out the cute (and slightly creepy) trolls lurking in the gift shops?
These little guys are often overlooked, but they’re the perfect blend of quirky and classic Disney charm.
Silhouette Cutting Experience
Next, have you ever heard of the silhouette-cutting experience? No, right? It’s definitely a hidden gem. So, since we were just talking about the Norway Pavilion, let’s stay right in EPCOT and head on over to the France Pavilion.
You can get a hand-cut silhouette of yourself, your kids, or even your favorite troll. It’s a timeless souvenir that captures the moment in a way that no photo ever could. Plus, it’s pretty affordable (by Disney standards).
Keep in mind that you can find this at two places in Magic Kingdom (on Center Street right outside the Crystal Arts shop and in Liberty Square) and we’ve seen them in the France pavilion at EPCOT before.
The Refillable Tumbler at Yak & Yeti (Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
If you’re a fan of practical souvenirs (we love them), then you’ll want to grab the refillable tumbler at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But there’s a catch. This specific one is only available at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Café.
That’s right; this gem is exclusive to this one spot in the entire park. Not only is it a more eco-friendly way to stay hydrated, but it also gives you a little exclusive piece of the park to take home. Also, refills are the holy grail of surviving Disney parks, especially on those scorching Florida days.
Perfumes and Cuckoo Clocks in the World Showcase (EPCOT)
If you want a taste of luxurious scents, the Italy and France Pavilions are your go-to spots for some truly exquisite perfumes.
The fragrances here are legit, and you won’t find them in your local department store. These are unique scents that will instantly transport you back to your time at EPCOT every time you spritz.
Meanwhile, in the Germany Pavilion, you can find another hidden treasure — authentic cuckoo clocks.
These are the real deal, handcrafted in Germany, and they’re like nothing else. This is definitely a special souvenir that will last a lifetime. Also, they make for a great conversation starter for your living room!
Galaxy’s Edge Kyber Crystals and Droid Personality Chips (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
Star Wars fans, these ones are for you. You probably know about building your own lightsaber in Galaxy’s Edge, but did you know that the Kyber Crystals you choose can change the color of your saber?
But here’s a secret: there’s a special black crystal that’s usually hidden in a red case. So, you might just get lucky and score this rare crystal, making your lightsaber extra unique.
But that’s not all. If you’re into droids, you’ll want to check out the personality chips.
These little add-ons can change the way your droid interacts with its environment. Whether you want it to join the First Order or the Resistance, these chips add a whole new layer of fun to your droid experience.
Marionette Puppets and Pickle Ornaments (EPCOT)
Last but not least, let’s hop back over to EPCOT. In the China Pavilion, you can pick up traditional marionette puppets.
These handcrafted beauties are as entertaining as they are artistic, and they’re a great way to bring a piece of Chinese culture home with you.
And over in Germany, don’t forget to snag yourself a pickle ornament. Yep, you read that right — pickle ornament!
It’s a quirky German tradition where the pickle is hidden in the Christmas tree, and the first person to find it gets an extra gift. Can you think of a more fun and unique way to add a little Disney magic to your holiday traditions?
