Do you enjoy playing Disney games with friends and family?

From board games to card games to video games, there are tons of Disney games to play that activate core memories. We enjoy all kinds of games, but there’s a relatively new Disney game that we can’t stop playing, and the newest edition has FINALLY been released!
Disney’s Lorcana is a trading card game that lets you experience Disney magic in a new way. You get to play with your favorite characters to race against your opponent to win the game. The story behind the game makes it even more fun to play. You can read all about this new Lorcana segment, Ursula’s Return, in our review!
Lorcana: Ursula’s Return recently hit the shelves, and now it’s officially on Amazon! This is the next installment in the popular Lorcana game. Two new starter sets of cards were released including the Amber & Amethyst set!

This kit with many Disney characters, some we’ve seen in other sets and a few new ones. The foil cards in the amethyst and amber kit are of Mirabel and Bruno!

You can mix and match cards from different sets to create your own ultimate deck to defeat your opponents. So if you purchase this or the other set, you can pick out your favorites!
There is also the Sapphire and Steele starter kit that is part of this new storyline!

This set includes the foil cards of Anna (looking fierce) and Hercules. Ursula’s Return also brings back the location cards which were new in the last chapter, Into the Inklands.

If you’re new to the game, these starter kits provide you with everything you need to begin. If you’re a veteran player, you can boost your deck!
You can also purchase the Illumineer’s Trove (you play as an Illumineer in the game), which is a beautiful themed box to store all your cards in!

The trove comes with one card storage box, six card dividers, eight booster packs of 12 additional game cards each, six damage-counter dice, and one Lore counter. This is nearly everything you need to play the game other than an initial deck. And the box is the perfect place to store them when you’re not playing to ensure they remain undamaged.
The last sets of cards you can get are the booster packs!

While a few of these come in the Illumineer’s Trove, you can also purchase them individually! It’s a shot in the dark which cards you’ll end up with, but each pack comes with an additional 12 cards to add to your deck. If you’re planning on building a deck, you need a minimum of 60 cards in it, it can’t contain more than 4 copies of any single card, and it can only contain cards from one or two inks (ex. sapphire and amethyst, steele and amber, or any other combination).
Don’t worry, the starter decks include a small playing guide so you can keep track of all the rules and lingo easily. I learned how to play recently, and it was fairly simple to get the hang of. We’ll be following up with more Lorcana news so keep following AllEars for more!
