Locals and vacationers near Universal Orlando may have seen a large amount of smoke in the air on March 30th, 2024.
Officials are now reporting that a fire broke out at a location near Universal’s Endless Summer Resort early on March 30th.
According to WESH 2, around 6:15AM, officials were called to an abandoned two-story hotel on South Kirkman Road near International Drive. A quarter of the hotel was on fire, creating heavy smoke.

While no injuries were reported, this is now the third time officials have been called to this same abandoned hotel this year, with the previous two calls on February 27th and March 10th. Both of those fires were deemed not suspicious.
