NEW McDonald's Menu Item Revealed for Select Locations

A NEW menu item has been announced for McDonald’s — but there’s a catch!

We’ve seen McDonald’s announce a number of new things in the past few weeks/months — from new Happy Meal toys to exclusive new menu items — and now they’re back at it again. But you’ll have to live in a specific place to grab these snacks!

According to a McDonald’s press release, as of August 22nd, a NEW breakfast menu item has made its way to select McDonald’s locations. It’s the Mighty McMuffin! But here’s the tough part — it’s only available at participating McDonald’s restaurants in Canada and it’ll only be around for a limited time.

The new sandwich is made with a “freshly cracked Canada grade A egg,” cheddar cheese, and a toasted English muffin, as well as sausage and double bacon!

If you’re looking for more “mighty” options in Canadian McDonald’s locations, you can also check out the Mighty McGriddles. These come with a double portion of bacon plus an egg, cheese, and sausage on maple-flavored griddle cakes.

If you’ll be ordering those goodies at McDonald’s spots in Canada, be sure to check out the My McDonald’s Rewards points system too. From now through October 2nd, guests can get “2x the MyMcDonald’s Rewards points when they use the app before 11:00 am.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen some McDonald’s menu items announced for Canada locations. Previously, we shared how Canadians were able to get a Squishmallows McFlurry along with a Squishmallows Happy Meal toy.
