With Blizzard Beach closed for refurbishment (and no reopening date announced just yet), Typhoon Lagoon is the only water park open in Disney World right now.
When we were perusing the Disney website recently, we noticed a small change that might impact your day at Typhoon Lagoon.
For the past several weeks, likely in an effort to keep up with the spring break crowds, Typhoon Lagoon has been open from 10AM-5PM on weekdays and from 10AM-6PM on the weekends. We noticed that, beginning on Saturday, April 23rd, Typhoon Lagoon will be reducing its hours to close at 5PM on both weekdays and weekends.
We also noticed that Typhoon Lagoon resumes its 10AM-6PM weekend schedule on Saturday, May 28th, likely in preparation for Memorial Day weekend and summer crowds.
