A Large Plot of Land Near Disney World May Soon Be Available

The area surrounding Disney World is constantly growing and changing.

As Disney World gets more popular each year, there are more hotels, residential areas, and shopping options springing up nearby. And today, a piece of land nearby is considered for rezoning — and it could be the future home of something exciting.

Orlando Sentinel shared a tweet today noting that the owners of 130 acres near Disney World are considering having the land rezoned so that it can be marketed as an industrial park. It was previously approved for a luxury resort and is located in the middle of a residential area.

The site is located on the northeast corner of Old Lake Wilson Road and Sand Hill Road, and across from the Mystic Dunes Golf & Country Club. The large acreage could be used for a variety of things, so it would be interesting to see who the potential clients would be.

At this time, The Walt Disney Company is in the process of moving more offices to Florida, specifically the Lake Nona area. So, if the owners of the 130-acre plot of land are looking to attract high-profile clients, now would be a great time to sell.
