We hope you brought your appetite! Plaza Inn in Disneyland is back and serving breakfast once again!

We’re here in Disneyland for a first look at the reopened Minnie & Friends — Breakfast in the Park character meal! Let’s eat!
Plaza Inn offers Quick Service lunch and dinner (with their famous fried chicken), but in the morning it serves an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast, with items like Mickey Waffles, French Toast, Biscuits and Gravy, and so much more! YUM! Keep in mind, though, that this character meal might look a little different — the character dining experience has been modified to account for social distancing!
Atmosphere
When a guest’s reservation time rolls around, they are checked in outside the front entrance to Plaza Inn.

Right away, guests are greeted by Minnie Mouse!

She brought her freshly picked flowers to breakfast, and guests can wave and snap pictures from a safe distance.

Guests are then brought to their table.

Dining is located both indoors…

…and outdoors!

Once guests are settled, they can head up to the buffet stations to grab breakfast!
Menu
The menu is full of breakfast classics, like made-to-order omelets, bacon, and scrambled eggs!

The prices are $41 per adult and $24 per child.

The food stations were stocked well with all of our favorite breakfast items, including trays full of scrumptious Mickey Waffles!

Obviously, we grabbed a plate full of them!

Other buffet stations include hot food like biscuits, gravy, and sausage…

…eggs and breakfast potatoes…

…as well as cold food options like cereal…

…yogurt, granola, and other toppings…

…and of course, yummy pastries!

Guests can also dine on made-to-order omelettes.

The best part is that this is all-you-care-to-enjoy, so as long as you have room in your stomach, you can keep grabbing more food!
Characters
Like we mentioned, breakfast at Plaza Inn is traditionally a character dining experience, but it has been modified to comply with physical distancing. In addition to saying “hello” to Minnie Mouse outside, guests can expect to see several of their favorite characters parade around the restaurant! We spotted Winnie the Pooh and Tigger…

…as well as Pluto, Chip, Dale, and Daisy!

The character interactions are similar to what we’ve seen in the last year at Disney World’s character dining locations, as well as what we’ve recently seen at the newly reopened Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Characters will promenade around the restaurant and will not stop at individual tables for autographs or photos at this time. But, they’ll wave as they pass by!

We’re happy to see more dining locations return in Disneyland — especially with Minnie and friends there to greet us! Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for more of the latest dining updates and Disney news!
