If you were around in 1996, you might remember Tamagotchis.

Tamagotchis were THE coolest accessory that let you carry around your very own pocket pet. But what if your pet was…a droid?!

Today we found R2-D2 Tamagotchis on Amazon! We repeat, Star Wars Tamagotchis! There are two versions to buy, Hologram or Classic. The Hologram R2-D2 comes with a blue and white shell…

…and Classic features R2-D2’s iconic colors! You can train your “pet” R2-D2 19 different skills as well as “charge” him! There are also 7 mini-games to play and unlock. Remember how the old Tamagotchis would “die” if you left them alone too long? R2-D2 will get taken by Jawas!

The R2-D2 Tamagotchis also come with a chain so you can carry R2-D2 around with you everywhere you go, just to show everyone how cool you are.

Both Tamagotchis are $19.99 and available for pre-order NOW! They are scheduled to release on November 11th, 2021.

You just need to decide whether Classic or Hologram R2-D2 is the right Tamagotchi for you. We love the classic colors…
