Our favorite ogre is back!
It’s hard to believe it’s been two decades (!!!) since Shrek first graced theaters, but the movie finally got its due last year by being inducted into the National Film Registry.
But Shrek turns 20 this year, and Dreamworks has BIG plans to celebrate the anniversary. The company recently announced that Shrek is heading back to the big screen for a limited time as of April 25th!

Ogres are like onions, with many layers, and so is Shrek. And we can’t wait to unpeel those layers and relive all our favorite hilarious scenes with Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey (and maybe even Lord Farquaad).
The 20th anniversary screening of Shrek will only be available in select theaters. If you’re interested, be sure to check here for tickets and availability! And if we see any other big Shrek news, we’ll be sure to let you know!
