Ever since the Disney World parks reopened back in July, live entertainment has been pretty scarce.

Currently, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is showing in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and there are plans to bring back Festival of the Lion King in Animal Kingdom, but other than that, options are limited. Many entertainment cast members were laid off last year, and we still have no word on the return of nighttime spectaculars. Now, while many of these shows are closed, we’re taking a glimpse inside one of the empty theaters!
Fantasmic is one of Disney World’s most beloved and iconic fireworks shows, and currently, the theater in Hollywood Studios sits empty. Thanks to @bioreconstruct on Twitter, we got some aerial photos inside the theater, where the water is currently drained.

In the photos, we can see some of the boats used for the show, oddly docked on dry land. It’s definitely not the Fantasmic we’re used to! We’re anxiously awaiting the return of nighttime spectaculars, and this is one of the ones we’re most excited to watch again.

We’ll be on the lookout for more news on entertainment at Walt Disney World, so stay tuned. We’ve got the latest updates on all the reopening information!
