Each year since 2018, Disney on Broadway hosts a special one-day event for International Women’s Day to discuss “gender equality in the theatre industry and beyond.”
Despite turning virtual, the fourth annual “Women’s Day on Broadway” event will go on this year, according to BroadwayWorld.com.
This year’s event is called “Reflecting Courageously, Transforming Collectively” and will “immerse participants in a series of conversations and inspire each attendee to drive change, make an impact, and discuss how to keep moving forward amid this unprecedented and challenging time.”
The event will take place on Friday, March 12th, 2021, beginning at 1PM EST and will run for two hours. The event will also coincide with the one year anniversary of Broadway going dark amidst the global pandemic.
