Disney+ Raises the Barre with a New Ballet Docuseries Premiering Next Month!

We love a good documentary, especially when it showcases the hard work that happens behind the scenes in the creative world.

We mentioned in a previous post that a new docuseries called On Pointe would debut on Disney+ near the end of 2020, and now we have an official premiere date!

On Pointe features real-life stories of students ages 8 to 18 at the School of American Ballet in New York City. In this docuseries, you’ll see older students preparing for careers in dance as younger students train and rehearse for a major performance.

Today, we learned that Disney’s On Pointe will begin streaming on Disney+ on December 18th, 2020. We can’t wait to watch this behind-the-scenes peek at some of the best young ballerinas in the country as they work toward their goals and dreams.
