As Disney World continues to welcome guests back after their temporary closure, they have been actively modifying and updating health and safety procedures to keep Cast Members and guests safe while practicing proper physical distancing.
In addition to new face mask signage appearing in the parks, we also saw new procedures put into practice this week at Rose and Crown Pub in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT.
When we stopped by EPCOT earlier this week, we noticed that tables were still available for guests to sit at in the pub. When we visited today, however, the tables were unavailable!
Some tables were removed completely while others were roped off. The additional space is now being used as a queue area, with floor markers available to separate parties.
It’s possible Disney is anticipating bigger crowds this holiday weekend and they removed the tables to accommodate the additional queue space that they may need.
We’ll be sure to check back with Rose and Crown Pub in the coming days and weeks to see if those tables are brought back!

People-Thats whats missing! The fun the cheer. I was just there this week. Its quite sad to see so many places still closed. The heat while wearing the mask was almost unbearable ( for me). I did enjoy Via Napoli and the pizza was still amazing but the servers were not from Italy as expected. Lots of construction in Epcot and a lot of mask patrol. The food booths for the festivals were open and not to busy. Had dinner at California Grill. Plenty of room to social distance and the menu was offering the full (pre-Covid) items. A lot of the other signature restaurants aren’t open yet. Did MK as well and found that it was pretty crowded and the lunch time waits were pretty long because choices are also limited and you need to make plans in advance if possible. Mask patrol in full force in MK as well. Was still a good time just not magical.
