As Peach from Finding Nemo would say, “Today’s the day! The sun is shining, the tank is clean,” and we’re heading off to EPCOT!
It’s widely accepted that EPCOT is a food lover’s paradise, especially during the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. This year is a bit modified and is known as “A Taste of Food and Wine,” but the offerings are just as delicious as they’ve been in years past!
But in order to get to World Showcase…you have to walk through the front half of the park (if you enter through the front, that is!). And while there are still plenty of construction walls up in preparation for the park’s 40th anniversary, the view of Spaceship Earth can’t be beat!
The new Fountain Pylons are visible, too!
Our first stop on our foodie tour around EPCOT was at the new Waffles Booth!
Since this booth just opened up today, we tried a little bit of everything: both Belgian Waffles (one served with Warm Chocolate Ganache and Whipped Cream, the other served with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream), as well as the Original Sin Brewery Black Widow Hard Cider.
Once we ate our breakfast, it was time to follow up with some coffee! And we aren’t talking about your garden variety coffee. We headed over to the newly reopened Donut Box booth and got ourselves a Black and White Coffee Cocktail!
The Donut Box is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Cool Wash, which also opened up this month! This spot is known for their fun Slushies!
You can choose between Cherry, Blueberry, or regular Coca Cola flavors…but why choose when you can get a combo? Speaking of not having to choose, you can also pick any of the following four toppings: Swedish Fish, Nerds, Gum Drops, or Pop Rocks!
Breakfast time quickly turned into lunch time, so we adventured over to Flavors From Fire to kick things up a notch! We picked up an order of the Corned Beef Corner Route, which is a healthy dose of Smoked Corned Beef with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds, Pickled Onions, and Beer Cheese Fondue! We paired it with a Swine Brine, which comes with a l’il touch of Jim Bean.
We headed to the France Pavilion for our next snack. France is one of our all-time favorite booths at the Food and Wine Festival. On this trip, we got the Feuilleté d’Escargot à la Crème d’Ail et Persil…which in English is essentially Escargot in a Puff Pastry with a creamy Garlic and Parsley Sauce.
We weren’t finished just yet! Our next stop was the China booth where we picked up an order of their Crispy Fried Shrimp, which comes served over their classic Chengdu Street Fries.
Did you think all this food would fill us up? Think again! Once we finished our puff pastry we marched down to another one of our favorite booths, The Alps! There we got the Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese, along with a Frozen Rose!
We did a quick pit stop at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in The American Adventure to try the Shiner Ruby Red Grapefruit.
Since we were on a beer kick, we kept the party going at Rose and Crown Pub! We picked up a Snake Bite there to enjoy.
We sipped on our beverage while we took in the sunset around World Showcase Lagoon! This is definitely one of the best views in Disney World!
With our bellies QUITE full, we wrapped up our food-filled day at EPCOT! Be sure to keep checking back as we share more photos from our adventures around Disney World!

We loved everything we tried at the festival yesterday! The chicken dumplings in China, the chocolate baklava in Morocco, and the bratwurst and apple Strudel in Germany to name a few! Lower crowds also made it pleasant!
