Concept Art and Video Released of Expansion and Additions to Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland is currently in a multi-year process of developing new rides and expanding areas within the park. When the work is complete in Spring 2020 guests will find new attractions, entertainment, shopping and dining experiences. Today, Disney shared video and concept art of some of the new rides and attractions -- including a Beauty and the Beast themed area. See a video of the new ride and concept art here.

Largest Ever Tokyo Disney Sea Expansion

In addition to the ongoing Tokyo Disneyland development, including a "Beauty and the Beast"-inspired area and a "Big Hero 6" attraction, Tokyo DisneySea will be expanded in 2022 with an eighth port to include the Disney films "Frozen," "Tangled" and "Peter Pan." A new deluxe hotel with a one-of-a-kind luxury wing will also be connected to the port.

The Oriental Land Company has made 2 announcements so far this year about changes at the resort. Stitch Encounter will Open on July 17, 2015 at Tokyo Disneyland. Tokyo DisneySea – Part 4

I found that Tokyo DisneySea reminded me much more of Universal's Islands of Adventure than any other Disney park. Some similar looks to those of the Port of Entry, Lost Continent, and Jurassic Park areas of Islands of Adventure. Not that that's a bad thing - those are all really well-done!
